Ctrip's international app. Fully in English, takes foreign cards without fuss, and books the same trains and hotels as the Chinese apps — the safest fallback when something else refuses your card.

Before you go

  1. Create the account and add your card at home so booking on the road is one tap.
  2. Enter passport details exactly; rail tickets are issued against them.

Tips

  • Hotel listings flag which properties actually accept foreign guests — not all do.
  • Its train tickets cost slightly more than 12306 but skip the counter verification.
